An Unforgettable Afternoon with Calvin Trillin

 

Last Saturday, April 27th, literature enthusiasts and supporters of Fisherman’s Mark gathered at Cradle Valley Farm in New Hope for an exclusive event featuring the renowned author, Calvin Trillin. From 4 to 6 pm, attendees were treated to an afternoon of literary delights, accompanied by light fare, wine, and soft drinks, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Cradle Valley Farm.

Calvin Trillin, a legendary figure in journalism and literature, the spotlight of the event, captivated the audience with his wit and wisdom. “His support of our organization was deeply appreciated,” said Executive Director Jennifer Williford. “We are honored to have had the opportunity to host such an esteemed figure.”

Attendees, including Caroline Armstrong, echoed the sentiment of gratitude and excitement. “The event was riveting and so joyful,” remarked Armstrong. “It was a thrill to hear Mr. Trillin read, and the other readers were dynamic and terrific. It was all just a thrill.”
