Mobile MARKet

Food support, delivered with care.

For neighbors who are unable to get to the Free MARKet, Mobile MARKet brings groceries and prepared meals directly to their door.

Each week, participants choose the foods and items that work best for them, and Fisherman’s Mark staff and volunteers deliver those selections right to their homes.

How It Works

Mobile MARKet is designed to make home delivery simple, personal, and choice-based.

1

Complete an Intake Form

Participants complete a short intake form and self-identify as needing home-delivered food support.

2

Receive a Thursday Morning Call

Each Thursday morning, a volunteer or staff member calls to talk through the foods and grocery items available that week.

3

Choose What Works for You

Participants select the items they want or need from the week’s available “menu,” rather than receiving a pre-packed order.

4

Delivery Later That Day

Staff and volunteer drivers deliver groceries to participants’ homes later on Thursday, bringing food directly to the door.

What’s Included

Available items vary from week to week, but Mobile MARKet participants can choose from a range of groceries and fresh foods based on current inventory.

Groceries + Fresh Foods

Participants choose from available pantry staples, fresh produce, proteins, and other grocery items that fit their household needs.

Zero Waste Meals

When available, participants also receive prepared meals through Fisherman’s Mark’s Zero Waste program, extending the value of rescued food and bringing additional nourishment directly to their homes.

Mobile MARKet is about more than getting groceries from one place to another. Every part of the program is designed to make food support more accessible, personal, and responsive.

More Than a Delivery

The weekly call creates a personal connection. The choice-based menu allows participants to select foods that fit their preferences and household needs. And the delivery itself offers another point of contact with staff and volunteers.

For some participants, that means groceries left at the door. For others, it may mean a volunteer bringing bags inside and helping make the delivery just a little easier.
