Choice, dignity, and access — all in one place.
The Free MARKet gives neighbors the opportunity to choose groceries, fresh produce, personal care items, household essentials, and more at no cost. It’s designed to make food support feel welcoming, flexible, and responsive to what each household actually needs.

What is the Free MARKet?
The Free MARKet is a choice-based food pantry serving all of Hunterdon County and neighbors within a 10-mile radius. Rather than receiving a pre-packed box, visitors shop for the items that work best for their household.
That choice matters. It helps honor personal preferences, reduce waste, and create a more dignified experience.
