The Farm Stand Celebrates Another Year of Community

The Farm Stand at The Mark celebrates a wonderful year of gorgeous local produce and wellness education to the community.

When we say Fisherman’s Mark goes “beyond basic need” with our programs, nowhere is that more apparent than the Farm Stand.  For many living in poverty, access to healthy food is limited and as a consequence, malnutrition and obesity have reached epidemic levels across the country.  Fisherman’s Mark supports the long-term health of clients with access to delicious healthy food and nutrition education.

But it doesn’t end there, the Farm Stand is just plain fun.  Our volunteers, presenters, and clients form a community, sharing recipes and ideas, and sharing friendship.  We are so grateful to the people and farms that make this possible, including None Such Farms, Blue Moon Acres, Profeta Farms, Chickadee Farms, The Lambertville Learning Garden, amazing local gardeners and of course, the Rolling Harvest.

And the individuals and groups that support us not only understand the need for programs that go that next step, they also celebrate the successes of Fisherman’s Mark in building a healthier community.
