Volunteers are at the heart of Fisherman’s Mark. Their generosity of time and spirit helps sustain nearly every aspect of our work—from supporting neighbors at the Free MARKet to helping us stay connected with the broader community.
Many people who reach out to volunteer are interested in working a regular shift at the Free MARKet. While we deeply appreciate that enthusiasm, most of those shifts are currently filled by long-time volunteers who have committed to serving on a consistent basis.
That said, there are many other meaningful ways to get involved. Volunteers help write notes for campaigns, assist with food deliveries, take photographs at events, and support special projects throughout the year. We are always grateful for new ideas and talents as well—there may even be ways you can contribute that we haven’t yet imagined.
