Claire Lynch

Claire began her journey with Fisherman’s Mark as a Free MARKet volunteer and continues to volunteer today for the Zero Waste Program. She officially joined the team in 2021 as a communications contractor supporting outreach in the wake of Hurricane Ida. Since early 2025, she has served on staff as our Communications & Marketing Manager.

Claire brings decades of experience in nonprofit communications, messaging, and community engagement. She manages Fisherman’s Mark’s social media, newsletters, and website, and writes articles, grant applications, and press releases that help tell the story of our impact.

“As a first-generation American who grew up on free lunch, I know what it’s like to face challenges. That experience is a big part of what drives me to do this work.”

Whether crafting a story, designing a digital campaign, or lending a hand at the Free MARKet, Claire is passionate about helping others feel seen, supported, and empowered. When she’s not writing or volunteering, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and riding around town on a Vespa with her husband.
