Join us for a one-of-a-kind evening of film, conversation, and community at a special screening of A Way to Be Together, an award-winning short film by director Trina Bardusco.
Set in a New Jersey town divided by unseen borders, the film follows a Mexican immigrant community stepping into the light through the power of celebration and cultural pride. As their vibrant festival brings neighbors together, rising fear and tension reveal that even moments of joy can become powerful acts of courage and hope.
The evening will feature light bites, a special performance by Lambertville Local Marilyn Gutiérrez, a screening of the film, and a Community Voices panel discussion with director Trina Bardusco and local leaders. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in an audience Q&A, creating space for reflection, dialogue, and connection.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Fisherman’s Mark’s Los Puentes program and support expanded outreach to the Latino community, helping ensure that vital resources, services, and opportunities remain accessible to all.
