We connect the Latino community in need of Fisherman’s Mark services and encourage the community to participate in community initiatives such as surveys, referendums, census, healthcare campaigns, etc. We provide a safe, immigrant-friendly and welcoming environment and have two native Spanish-speakers on staff to help with translation as necessary. Recipe for Success
Recipe for Success is an excellent example of participant-driven programming. A group of our Los Puentes participants were interested in improving their cooking skills to restaurant-level. Our long-time supporter and partner, Holly Hedge Estates, offered not only their working kitchen, but Spanish-speaking Executive Chef Jose Calderon, taught the group.
